App Privacy Policy

Updated: 2026 · This policy applies to the iPad app PlanMeasure. For the website, see Website Privacy.

PlanMeasure is designed as a local-first app. That means: your plans, measurements and annotations stay on your device. We do not run our own servers for PlanMeasure, no user accounts, no cloud back-end.

2. What data does the app process?

2.1 Local on device

The following data is stored exclusively on your device (SwiftData):

This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly export it or enable iCloud sync.

2.2 iCloud sync (optional, Pro)

When you enable iCloud sync, your projects are synchronised across your devices via your Apple ID. The controller for processing in iCloud is Apple Inc. – we have no access to this data at any point.

2.3 Apple Maps

When you use the "Map import" tool, requests are sent to Apple Maps services (address search, map snapshot). Controller is Apple Inc. Apple's privacy terms apply.

2.4 StoreKit / Apple servers

When you purchase or restore the Pro subscription, the app communicates with Apple's StoreKit servers to verify purchase status. We only receive an anonymous confirmation of an active subscription – no payment data.

3. Permissions the app may request

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS settings.

4. What the app does NOT do

5. Legal basis

Insofar as any processing takes place at all (local storage of your inputs), it is based on contract performance pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (provision of the app's functionality).

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Since PlanMeasure stores your data exclusively locally, you exercise access, rectification and erasure directly in the app. For questions, contact us at info@nordicdatahub.de.

7. Updates

This privacy policy will be updated as soon as anything material changes about the app's data processing (e.g. new cloud features).
